The Clinical Educator II position manages clinical
training needs for the clinical population of employees. The position conduct
needs assessments, including analysis on what is needed internally and what
regulatory demands require, develop curriculum for training seminars, create
study guides for ACLS, BLS, and PALS training, and present courses to internal,
and when necessary, external clinical personnel. Will have overall
responsibility for curriculum development, creation of study guides for all
classes and teach all classes specific to the RN and LVN scope of practice.
Associate of Arts or Science degree. BSN or
MSN from an accredited university or college preferred. Five or more years
experience as a RN in a clinical setting. Two or more years of experience in
the education/training of clinical staff. Ten or more years of progressive
experience in health care and with at least five years of education/training experience
preferred. Active RN License, current BLS, ACLS and PALS required (if not
current, the ACLS and PALS must be current within three months). Current BLS
instructor certification preferred but will be required within six months of
hire. Must be proficiently skilled in the application and use of Windows, Word,
PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
