Job Description

The Director of Clinical Information Services is responsible for the deployment of an Electronic Medical Records system, and other enterprise clinical systems in support of strategic objectives for improving quality care, patient safety and financial performance. The EMR deployment encompasses all clinical providers, ancillary and support services across multi-facility, multi-entity, regional ambulatory healthcare delivery network.

Qualifications

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Clinical Informatics, Nursing or specialized discipline in the field of job responsibility, or equivalent discipline from an accredited university.  Five to seven years progressive experience in healthcare or similar service industry including prior supervisory responsibilities or project management required. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; the ability to manage teams, processes, or direct project implementations; ability to interact with individuals at various levels in the organization; ability to develop and re-engineer workflows and processes leveraging capabilities of the electronic system. PMP Certification preferred.
