Job Description

The Licensed Vocational Nurse assumes responsibility for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems.  He/She utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics.  He/She sill be an integral participant in the organization and management of the physician’s practice for the duration of the time assigned.

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; current State of CA LVN license; current BLS certification; IV certification preferred; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; one year previous LVN experience preferred; additional experience in general care nursing and bilingual preferred.
