Under the direction
of the Chief Performance Officer or his/her designee, the Director of Practice
Performance is responsible for the management of complex analyses and projects
related to the measurement, monitoring and reporting of physician practice
performance. This position is
responsible for the development and management of physician compensation
systems, specifically integrating quality and practice metrics in the
calculation. The Director of Practice Performance also provides support in the
areas of physician recruiting, orientation, employment contract management, and
physician workforce retention.
Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master’s degree in
related field preferred. Three years managing analytics and data reporting in a
financial environment, or similar field. Exposure to healthcare operations in a
managed care environment and working with related healthcare applications preferred.
Ability to accept new responsibilities with a willingness to see problems
through to a successful conclusion. Knowledge
of and commensurate hands on skill set with data reporting applications and the
Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
