Job Description
Under the direction of the DSS Manager, completes
review of production application data for analytical and regulatory
reporting. These applications contain
disparate data which must exist in one cohesive Data Warehouse. The Data Warehouse is designed using the
Kimball methodology to produce datasets which are accurate and optimized for
reporting/data mining (Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence). The Data Warehouse Developer facilitates the
delivery of this data/information via Tableau, SSRS, PowerPivot and regulatory
file formats. Clients supported by this
position may be internal users or external entities contracted to perform
specific value added services.
Qualifications
Bachelor
of Science Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. Master’s Degree in
related field preferred. Strong working knowledge of healthcare industry
standards; 4+ years of healthcare operations experience and advanced hands on
knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2016/2018, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting
Services, and Microsoft Office Professional Suite. As stated above, 3-5 years of
healthcare operations experience in a managed care environment with EMR/EHR
operational knowledge as well as SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server
Analysis Services, and C# is preferred.
