Job Description

 

The Application Coordinator Analyst I works under minimal supervision, and is directly responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of EPIC Management’s systems and applications, including upgrades, testing, communication, data integrity, and business analysis.  The Application Coordinator Analyst would be responsible for determining “how” to architect, and implement said vision and direction within the platform or related third party. In addition, situational (break/fix) decision making will also fall to the Application Coordinator Analyst.  This position is subject to being on-call 24 hours, seven days a week on a rotating schedule.

 

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or equivalent; requires an existing Epic Systems certification in Resolute Professional Billing; or a Bachelor’s Degree in information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience with Revenue Cycles, Managed Care, Clinical Operations, EMR systems, Payroll Systems, or working with practice performance systems is required. Two years’ experience in an Application Coordinator or related role supporting a large enterprise application (EMR, ERP, etc.), or four years’ Analyst experience.  Both must include configuration, setup, problem resolution, upgrades, testing, communication, data integrity, and business analysis; or existing Epic Certification with the software vendor and in-depth operational knowledge in the area being supported is preferred.
