Job Description

The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible  for ensuring high-quality nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems. He/She utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics.  He/She will be an integral participant in the organization and management of the physician’s practice for the duration of the time assigned. As a Float, this position will be assigned to perform in various types of practices with a high skill level, involves  frequent movement from one physician practice to another.

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; current State of CA LVN license; current BLS certification; must have two or more years  as an LVN, with broad clinical experience, multi speciality setting is preferred; IV certification preferred; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; bilingual preferred.
