Duane Whittington, M.B.A.

Vice President – Network Development

Mr. Whittington has over 15 years of experience in the physician practice management and managed care industries.  He joined EPIC in 2006 as the Vice President of Network Development. His responsibilities include business development, marketing, managed care finance, claims management, database reporting and decision support.

Prior to joining EPIC, Mr. Whittington served for over 5 years as Chief Operating Officer for Catholic Healthcare West-Inland Healthcare Organization (IHO). Before joining IHO, he was Regional Vice President for First Physician Care, Inc., which was a start-up physician practice management organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Whittington was Assistant Vice President/Executive Director with Pacific Physician Services, a West Coast publicly-traded physician practice management company.

Mr. Whittington earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University in Toronto, Canada and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University.
